Easter Celebrations

A Happy Spring Season!
We have been waiting for good weather to feel the spring season!
We are still getting days, here and there, of snow! BRRRRR!

In fact, the day before our neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt.....it snowed 3 inches!
Thankfully, it had melted by the next morning!
A very COLD morning indeed!

We did not let weather stop us!
The kids were up and at 'em!
Ready to find those eggs!

Here we are at the club house enjoying our train ride!
All to ourselves!

We had glamorous facepainting!

12 eggs per child, please!

I did it!

That night, Grandma Sorbonne came for an impromptu egg- coloring fest!
(She taught me a lesson in "cheap fun!")
I had 18 eggs boiled and ready...
but when Grammy arrived she saved the day!
Promptly going to the store and buying 4 dz MORE eggs!
The kids were thrilled!
Boy did we have fun!

On Easter afternoon we met at Grammy's house to disperse of the eggs!
This last one was sure a toughy to find!

Waiting on the steps Easter morning!
(Mom loves to take pictures)

Our bunny was especially tricky this year.
Hiding baskets in really hard places!

Victory!
Mmmmmmmm!

That night we met at Grandpa and Grandma Mickelson's for dinner!
Always delicious!
Always beautiful!
Always FULL!

Every little cousin received a Zhu-Zhu pet!
Amazing!

Lauren with Great-Gram Mickelson!
Ava with Great-Gram Ross!

Auntie Kate and Lauren!
Watching TV with Grandpa after dinner!

The "kids table"
Today, we "cracked" out the Easter attire!
I love to see my kids coordinating outfits...but it only happens every 6 months!

And here's what you all are waiting for!
The annual family photo!
All in one picture at the same time!

May the Easter Season be a reminder of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Of His Life and Resurrection!
Here are a couple of great films on the life and resurrection of the Savior.

After Christ's Resurrection he also visited those in the America's.
To confirm to them of his life, his teachings, and love.
As recorded in the Book of Mormon.

On a personal note: Easter is on of my favorite Holidays. As I am reminded of our Savior and his saving grace. That he provided a way for all of us to return to our Heavenly Father. For our family, we know we will all be together again!
