From the time Lauren was small,
she has been interested in nature!
Finding Salanders, toads, snakes and other natural things.
Like rocks, and bugs...and dinosaurs?
Well, this year, as part of her 4th grade experience,
they had studied weather and rocks.
Each day Lauren would come and talk about Cumulous Clouds,
then rocks and fossils.
We didn't realize how well it was all translating until she
came in from the house and said,
"Mom, I found a fossil!!!! In a sedementary rock!!!!"
And so she did!
If you look closely, on the lip of the rock, there is an impression of a fern!
Now she's saving for college to be a Paleontologist!
