Swimmin' in the Rain

This Summer, all three weeks, proves to be one of our busiest!

During the Winter months, Lauren was recruited to swim on a local swim team.

We were SO SO SO excited for this opportunity!

It didn't take long for the other kids to hop on "board."

Four nights a week of practice.

It was pretty intense!

The upside-I did manage to get some leisure reading time in!

We had several swim meets.

All of which,  had a rain storm.

Did you know, that unless there's lightening...you keep on swimming?

 This was Lauren's FIRST meet.

She was very nervous!
What's amazing is that once the nerves kicks in....she slowed down!

We had a great time, each meet, talking about swim hard and FAST.

Just  like practice!

She had a great season!
She felt so confident.

It was great to watch her progress!

 Gabe could BARELY swim when he started with the team.

Boy, did he learn quickly!

He and Tadje qualified for Conference!

Way to go little guy!

What a great Summer!

I have so much fun watching my kids learn new skills and gaining confidence in new areas!

This was one of those times!
