It's that CRAZY time off winter.
The kids are "off track."
The weather is cold (not as cold as past winters).
We are in great need to use up some energy!
Of course, we headed to Bear Lake!
Every time, this comes around, I am dragging my feet a little.
But when we get there......boy do we have fun!!!
Day 1: Hit the Slopes.
Beaver Mountain ski resort is so great!
During the week, there are very few skiers.
Because of this, our kids pretty much have "free reign" of The Little Beaver Slopes.
It is so great!
We ski until they close.
Drive home....and get warmed up.
After a warm tub and jammies.
We light a fire.
Crack open the package of marshmallows.
Start roasting.
Eat until our hearts content.
Delish.
The boys had picked up a new skill on the slopes.
Jumping.
They were on the prowl for any little bump!
Good buddies.
Ava and I are little ski friends.
She leads....I follow.
She can really tear it up on those slopes.
By the end she was begging for "black diamonds."
(We did let her try one at the very end of the trip.)
Good little skiier!
Paul--the chaparone.
He kind of did his own thing.
Mostly, teaching the boys how to catch more air.
On the chair lift.
Good talks.
The last night, we did not roast marshmallows.
I tried a new recipe my friend gave me.
Pillsbury Biscuits with a hole cut in the middle.
Fry it up, and add a little frosting glaze.
Mmmmmmmmm!
(Not. At. All. Healthy.)
Suprisingly good!
Just had to show lunch sacks with the kids initials.
Oh, man....I need a creative outlet....
We always enjoy this trip!
(The condo can be rented too!)
So if you ever want a Utah Winter Getaway.......
