The Autumn is filled with lots of sitting around.
Sitting around at games, that is!
This year, Tadje decided to give Lacrosse a try!
I was thrilled for him!
For the past two years, he has played tackle football.
It's been OK.
But not a LOVE.....
Not only did he TRY Lacrosee, but he RULED!
He was so good at catching, that thye made him the GOALIE.
Let me tell you something about being the goalie in Lacrosse....SCARY!
The ball is being lobbed in your exact direction from a long pole...
just as hard and fast as possible!
OUCH!
On the sidelines, all I heard was horror stories from mother's with older boys.
Shattered jaws, broken arms, broken legs, broken fingers, bruises, gashes and tears.
I kid you not!
However, Tadje is a great GOALIE!
It's hard to get a ball past him!
Tadje had two trademarks:
1. The smallest kids on the field
2. A screamer.
(YES! He SCREAMED directions and warnings to him team mates through out each game.)
