Ava had her first day of school!
It was the first day, even without Mama teaching!
She kept telling me how I was going to be the teacher,
and she was the "helper!"
Each day, I would remind her that now she was big,
and Mommy would not be with her!
At the departure of the door,
Ava did FABULOUS!
Mommy cried!
She knows her teacher, Mrs. Hawes, as we are friends!
She is such a joyful teacher!
She encourages each child as they grow!
I am so happy that Ava is in her class this year!
