When the Cat's Away.....

...the mice will play!

First...let's start with the disclaimer:
I DO like having a husband that works from home....most of the time.

Phew-with that out of the way let me also say:
Except when I need to get a little work done!

When he's home,  there will be absolutely NO sneeking around!
No extra shopping.
No sneeky furniture finds.
No pedicures or makeovers.
No sleeping in, because I need a day off.
No getting behind on laundry.
No showers as late as 4pm.
Seriously.
Don't Laugh....you know it's true!

BUT...he does take an occasional trip!
Yea-Haw!

I had been planning this, in my mind for a while.
When the house was built, they only offer the house to be painted mono-tone.
(Including ceilings)
Now it's time!
I am slowly making the transition!

"He" was supposed to take a 2 day trip to Seattle.
The hour he left, Ava and I make a run to Sherwinn-Williams!
Grabbed our gallon of "pre-selected" paint.
Raced home.
Here we are just getting started.
Ava was THE BEST helper of the day!!!

We got it all done, just in time!
"He" was supposed to stay over night...but at 6pm my phone txt read:
"On my way home now!"
My reply:
"Crap!"

Here's the finished product!

(Wish us  luck on our next project!)

Great job, you sneaks! Can't wait to see your next project. When is Paul due gone again? I bet you after all your work, he won't even notice. At least Tony wouldn't...:-)

I totally do the same thing! Aaron never leaves town, but I just did it the other day while at work, and I painted 2 walls, in the office, put it all away, and Voile' the next day pulled it all out and finished it up. I sure miss you.
