I was sick...

....and you visited me. During the last year, people would often ask me, "What can I do?" To me perfectly honest....I had chemo brain. I had no idea. We didn't suffer. We had many acts of kindness and love. Often. Today, I learned that one of my friend's started chemo. Again. I found myself asking her, "How may I help?" Then... it happened. I remembered some things that I thought would have been lovely acts of kindness. To preface this: I spent A LOT of time in my bed. The kids would go off to school. I'd climb back in. 5 minutes the before front door opened...I'd get out, make my bed, and pretend I was on the sofa all day. Courageous Corner

I can not believe this post is still here! I kind of forgot about it! Does anyone read a blog anymore? Other than for business. Well the last time I wrote was in 2018 and what a year that was. Getting you're feet on the ground and putting down roots after cancer, Is like a rebirth in the middle of a tornado. I always imagined all of my cells coming back together, to form the familiar parts of me. What I didn't know, is that it will take a lifetime to have that coming together solidify. I feel like I've spent the last 4 years running at my top pace. Behind the growth and desired autonomy my kids so naturally desire. Finding peace and connection in other areas. A Child's Point of View

Ava has been LOVING kindergarten! She loves to come home with the big kids and do what they are doing! It's actually fun to watch, as a mother. Just yesterday, she was anxious to do her "homework." We pulled out her folder to see what was assigned for the day. She was to: draw a picture of her teacher and then write her name. Easy. Especially for Ava. This is her first rendition. What do you think? I thought the same thing! So with out saying too much, I encouraged her to "Keep going!" This is the FULL version. I love early childhood! I just do!
