Celebrating Ella.

We have some wonderful friends in Ohio.

The Atwood Family.

After we moved to Utah, they were expecting their 4th child!

Baby Ella Pearl.

When Ella was born, they discovered she had Trisomy 18.

She was expected to live a very short time.

Miraculously, she lived 6 months.

We would check their family blog to see her progress, daily.

We prayed for her, daily.

We thought of each of them, daily.

Her life touched ours.

The Atwood family is a great example of strength and faith.

Yesterday marked her second birthday.

As a tradition, the Atwood's have organized a balloon release in her name.

So, each time her birthday comes, we talk about Ella and her family.

This year, we were stretched in so many different directions.

So, we actually had two different balloon releases!
