....And to ALL a good night!
This year we were kind of "misfits" of sorts.
My siblings alternate Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve between grandparents.
And we, are a bit like "newly weds," and haven't quite figured things out yet.
So we really had no where to go for Christmas Eve.
Upon further investigation...my brother and his family didn't either, and Grandpa and Grandma Mickelson wanted to be where we were!
So....we threw a party!
Uncle "Mick" showed up in Grandpa-Great Mickelson's Christmas polyester suit and aligator shoes. All in "mint" condition!

Food Prep is always easier with helping hands!
We cuddled the babies!
Tadje and Liesel.
We relaxed and visited.
Grandma Mickelson-Great and Grandma Ross-Great.
After dinner, we played a traditional German game, ring line.
"Oh, what fun!"
And played some MOORE!
Then, when the party all went home...we got ready for Santa's BIG night!
We tied the magic key to the door.
And set out cookies, candies, and hot chocolate.
Then we read Luke 2.
And opened our first gift of Christmas...pajamas.
Then, off to bed waiting to hear Santa's Sleigh Bells!
