Stitching the line....

When I first moved here,
I was trying to find a way to connect with other women.
It seemed like everyone was just so busy!!!
Just after my reconstruction, and therapy etc etc.....
I came up with a "stitching group!"
I know, I know....nearly severing all 4 fingers and then starting a stitching group?
Well,  gotta keep those fingers in shape somehow.

The group includes people from church, work, and around the town.

We have had a really good time!
The catch is, host  the group once a year.
Come up with a pattern, trace it and provide a place to sit.
Wouldn't you know....it's my turn again.

I just wanted to show this little stitch I came up with!
I do love patterns, and the ease of that....but I can be creative once in a while.

As  a little point of interest:  I was talking to my Mom the other day, and the conversation went something like this....
Mom:  "Hi!  What are up to today?"
Me: "Oh, the kids are off track and I'm trying to finish my stitch."
Mom:  "Really, what is it."
Me: " A little Valentine Tea Towel.  It will say, SPOON ME!"
Mom: ---SILENCE---(5-10 seconds)
Me: "Cute huh?"
Mom:  "Well, do you really want to hang that in  your......Kitchen?!"
Me: "YES!!"

I have spent the last week trying to figure out if this is too risque?
