Our family has been looking forward to this trip!
Paul's cousin, Zack, has been serving in Afghanistan for 6 months!
Thankfully for facebook, we were able to check up on him!
We prayed for his safe return every day.
We even sent packages.
My children just adore him!
So when we knew he was coming in May.....we were elated!
The kids are "off-track" all of May.
He decided to surprise his parents and gave them a wrong return date.
We were able to make it out, over Mother's Day.
Cat and Tom were able to drive down and meet us too!!!
Randy cooked dinner! Gourmet, as usual!!
Gloria is wonderful at making everyone feel special and welcome when then come!
Cousins.
The following week we visited with Grandpa and Peggy.
It really was so great to sit and visit!

Our feet can't touch California ground without a visit to Disneyland!!!
It was not busy, and the weather was just perfect!!
Now that the kids are all able to ride the rides....we really had a fun time together!
I was so impressed Ava did it!!
Apparently, our plane ride home was MUCH scarier, according to Lauren.
Lauren had the flu on this day, and missed our last day at Disneyland.
She really did not want to miss Aunt Gloria, and insisted she felt OK.
The "Beast" behind them, is made out of Lego's!
Especially if you have Boys!!!
This wall has bins with unique lego pieces.
You can pick and choose what you liked to load your cup with.
Then, you just pay for the cup!!!
It was so fun!
The Beach is under protection to buildup the tide pools and sea life in the area.
So we weren't allowed to collect shells.
But it was fun to see all the sea life there!
We had such a wonderful visit in California!!!
We can't wait to go back!
